Our farmers care for the land and the food they grow. They are part of our communities. We want you to know them, who they are and how they grow. We make it simple… the name of the farm goes right on the package.
Kingbird Farm is certified organic by NOFA-NY Certified Organic LLC (a USDA accredited certifier) for their produce, pastures, piglets, chickens, ducks, and eggs.
Stick and Stone
Stick and Stone is certified organic and grows a wide range of vegetables, including lettuce, cooking greens, summer and winter squash, heirloom tomatoes, beets and spinach. Their produce can also be found at the Ithaca Farmers Market, Greenstar, at local restaurants and on the Seneca & Cayuga Wine Trail.
Ithaca Organics is a family run farm owned and operated by Trever and Monica Sherman. Their 47 acre production farm neighbors the family organic dairy, Jerry Dell Farm. As third generation farmers, farming is in the blood. They are committed to providing quality, nutrient-rich foods while implementing sustainable farming practices.
Crooked Carrot makes a variety of foods using fresh, locally-grown produce, with an emphasis on preservation. Their products include a wide range of lacto-fermented, probiotic pickled veggies, tomato sauce, apple sauce, and more.
Inspired by world traditions in bread and service. New York’s Damascus Bakeries opened its community bakery in 1930 with America’s Original Pita Bread. Now 80 years and generations later, our dedication to providing delicious bread solutions to both the retail and food services environment continues to tantalize buds nationwide.
Double E Farms
Southern Tier NY producers of shiitake and oyster mushrooms on hardwood logs. The wood they use is selected and cut from over 70 wooded acres using sustainable forestry practices. All mushrooms are cultivated using natural and organic methods.
Blue Heron Farm
Blue Heron Farm grows high-quality organic produce for wholesale, retail, and restaurant markets in Ithaca, Brooklyn, and the Finger Lakes. Farmers Robin Ostfeld and Lou Johns have co-owned and managed Blue Heron as a certified organic farm since 1987.
